The online program modules cover a wide variety of topics most often requested by families and National Guard leadership. GFTB is modeled on the successful “Army Family Team Building” program. However, GFTB has been specifically developed to educate and empower those within the National Guard Community. Effective LeadershipThis course provides instruction on leadership traits from the perspective of the group and the leader. It covers leadership styles and problem solving techniques essential for effective leadership. Stress ManagementThis course covers the definition, causes, symptoms, and effects of stress. Discusses methods of controlling, eliminating and properly utilizing stress. Discusses ways to evaluate their own time management. Resources Around YouThis course provides an overview of networking with guard and community resources. Deployment And ReunionThis course examines the effects of deployment and reunion on Guard Members and their families. Family FinancesIn this course, you will learn how to manage your personal finances and plan for future needs. You will also learn how to get out of debt and live within your financial means. Family Readiness GroupsThis course covers how to establish, conduct, and maintain a Family Readiness Group and also discusses the group’s relationship with the parent organization or unit. Introduction To Guard Family Action PlanThis course provides an introduction to the Guard Family Action Plan.
