Step 1- In Processing

In Processing Welcome Briefing Training Pre-Deployment Deployment Reunion

Military FamilyAll Guard Members go through an In Processing when they attend the first drill with their unit. This In Processing is a way of collecting critical information about the guard member and to provide essential information to ensure their success.

Equally important, Family In processing helps ensure that families who are new to the National Guard are able to receive information and assistance in a timely manner. With that in mind, part of the In Processing includes the completion of a Family Data sheet (Registration). The information collected allows your unit, State Family Program Director or Wing Family Program Coordinator to send you materials relevant to your unit and the National Guard as well as important contact information. It also enables us to keep you informed about upcoming unit meetings and activities.

This first and vital step in the Family Readiness six step process establishes the foundation for communication between the National Guard and you the family member.

We know that your welfare and well being are contributing factors in a Guard Member’s ability to effectively perform their assigned mission. In order to further assist your family and Guard member with the transition into the National Guard a sponsor is appointed to the family and their Guard Member.
