1.5 Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH)

In addition to regular military pay, allowances and benefits,

members of the National Guard called (or ordered) to active duty,

not in conjunction with a contingency operation, are entitled

to BAH Type II when called to active

duty for a period of 139 days or less. BAH is based on geographic duty location, pay grade, and dependency

status.
