In addition to the benefits described in Key ANG/ARNG Programs on the menu on the right, ANG members can take advantage of benefits specific to the ANG. Provided they enlist for at least 6 years, ANG members can qualify for federal and state educational benefits upon completion of basic training (boot camp) and technical school.

The Tuition Assistance Top-Up benefit can be used to pay the difference between the total cost of a college course and the amount paid by military tuition assistance.

The Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) can provide college credit for ANG training (basic training and technical school). The CCAF can also assist ANG members with College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) testing and DANTES-related testing. Additional benefits are available through the Air Force Tuition Assistance Program.
