Basic Payline

As a service member, you are entitled to financial benefits that include basic pay and allowances. Basic pay is the main part of your salary, which increases with rank, time in service, and annual cost of living adjustments (COLAs).

The Department of Defense Financial Management Regulation Volume 7A, Military Pay and Procedures – Active Duty and Reserve Pay, contains all the policy guidance for military pay and allowance information.
